And because we are committed to developing, pioneering and championing an integral approach to working with men and boys we are planning to pilot an Integral Men's Group in 2013 in the Brighton & Hove area.

ReplyDeleteI have been asked if this Integral Group will be akin to Ken Wilber's work, this is the answer I gave:
The Integral work I do is influenced by Wilber's Theory of Everything AQAL model and by Spiral Dynamics (which isn't Wilber's model but he rates it)
My version of integral is about integrating the very best of what's available, both at a personal level and at a community level
There are other men who want to be in this group who bring different integral experiences to the group
So how our Integral Men's Group works will very much depend on the men who take part and will seek to ensure that every individual man both gets what he needs and is able to contribute to the collective experience of the group
It's a pilot, so we really don't know how it will work and personally I want this to be a group of great guys like who have something to give (as well as something to get) from the group
